## Minimum Requirements
Associate''s degree or completion of technical trade school courses, or equivalent experience
Minimum six years of electrical drafting / design experience including conduit and cable tray layouts and runs, electrical schematic drawings, panel layout drawing and interconnect drawings
Experience should also include location plans, wiring drawings, instrument loop drawings, instrument I/O lists, 1 line and 3 line drawings, P&ID; drawings and installation details and bill of materials
Working knowledge in AutoCAD and Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI)
Working knowledge with As-built drawings as well as drawings related to complete construction packages for instrumentation, controls and electrical power
Qualified candidates will have experience working on refining projects
Must have knowledge of industry standards and codes - American Petroleum Institute (API) Standards, Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society (ISA) Standards, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and National Electrical Codes (NEC)
Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

The incumbent can look forward to the following tasks:
Preparing instrument specifications and drawings
Loop diagrams
Control Panel Design Layout
Control wiring diagrams
The development of P&ID;''s
Performing advanced designs and utilizing design tools effectively
Meeting deadlines and managing priorities
Providing a high level of customer service
