Through this program, qualified foreign nationals select or are matched with U.

host companies for training programs in their field of study or career.

What You'll Do:
1) Use your interpersonal and communication skills to provide reception and answer questions via phone, email and messaging.
2) Use your clerical skills to collect, coordinate, organize, and maintain required intern and host applications, agreements, and supplemental materials.
3) Use your writing skills to complete and edit training plans for participants (given host input).
4) Educate participants and hosts about U.
S.
taxes and health insurance as they pertain to program participants.
5) Enroll participants in health insurance coverage, explain insurance procedures, and troubleshoot claim issues.
6) Collect, track, and review evaluations and arrival & departure documents from all participants.
Follow up on comments and problems; prepare certificates of completion.
7) Use software skills to enter and update MS Access database records, download applications from website, track participants in MS Excel, and track emails and tasks in MS outlook.
What You'll Earn:
Salary:
$33,750 per year at 30 hours per week.
This is equivalent to a $45,000 per year full-time salary.
Successful candidate may transition to full time after the first year.

A hybrid work schedule (up to 2 days per week from home) is permitted after 3 months of learning has been completed.
You will work with a team of four others in an open office setting in downtown Bellingham.
There is no travel involved in this position.
Most work is computer-based and interaction with participants is by phone, email and video platform.
The BridgeUSA program is complex and nuanced.
New staff should not expect to achieve mastery over all elements of their position description until at least six months into the job.
