Join a great team! Apply today! The Building Performance Center Manager oversees programs and processes of the Building Performance Center, including planning, developing, delivering and evaluating the services offered.
Serves as an external contact representing the BPC, actively networking to promote program services and build community partnerships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/
Responsibilities:
Plans, develops, administers, and communicates results of BPC programs within the Home Improvement Department to ensure agency and department goals and objectives are met.
Develops and updates business systems that support the fee-for-service offerings of the program.
Provides leadership to other BPC staff on program policies and practices.
Develops budgets and performs ongoing monitoring of expenditures and revenues.
Researches funding opportunities and responds to them with grant applications and service proposals.
Negotiates and executes service contracts.
Participates in local, state, regional and national advocacy and technical development organizations.
Provides training and technical assistance for DOE Weatherization sub-grantees statewide.
Oversees the development and implementation of technical training curriculum and other service offerings such as consulting and testing and inspections.
Responsible for the formatting, professional standards and marketing of Building Performance Center services.
Provides leadership to other BPC staff to ensure compliance with requirements and to ensure achievement of commitments set forth by the IREC accreditation standard.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in related field, a minimum of 7 years' related experience, including 3 years of program development and/or management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized training/experience in leadership and fund raising preferred.
Specialized training in the development and delivery of technical vocational training (train the trainer) preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Washington State Driver's License at time of hire.
Good driving record.
A three-year driving abstract must be submitted upon request.

Ability to negotiate, influence others and problem solve beyond department (internally and externally) on issues of significance to the Opportunity Council.
Ability to Conceptualize a variety of complex problems, which require in-depth theoretical and functional knowledge.
The position deals with leading edge or state-of-the-art subject matter.
Significant analysis may be required to define the problem or issue.
The solution frequently cannot be found in policies, practices and precedents.

Position requires travel on a local, state, and national level.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
