The Maintenance Manager position is a full-time, weekends are included in the schedule, that will be responsible for assisting with the completion of preventative maintenance, service requests, repairs, apartment turnovers and grounds keeping at the direction of the Property Manager.
Schedule will include one or two weekend days and this position will be part of the on-call rotation.

Mercy Housing is looking for a Maintenance Technician who has the desire to contribute to our mission to create a more humane world where poverty is alleviated, communities are healthy, and all people can develop their full potential! Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.
Technical training in a building trade preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of one year in skilled maintenance work preferred.
Technical expertise in one or more building trades preferred.
Abilities:
Take direction from the supervisor.
Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions.
Work in a collaborative manner, as a part of the site team.
Relate professionally with vendors, residents, and co-workers.
Communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Flexible to change work plans.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Cleans up after work is complete.
Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.
Maintains grounds and common areas, including lawns and flowerbeds, shrubbery, parking areas, and trash pickup.
Provides on-call maintenance service, as directed.
Responds to emergencies, as required.
