Resident Care Nurse Manager - GENERAL SUMMARY Manages and directs resident cares for assigned section and assist with facility wide nursing services as directed by the Director of Nursing Services.
Oversees general nursing care to residents in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as facility policy and procedures.
Manages and oversees floor staff to include Licensed Nurses (RN, LPN), NACs, BA and RA.
Works collaboratively with members of the healthcare team.
Maintains standards of professional nursing practice.
Assist the DNS to develop, interpret, implement and validate that Center policies and procedures, standards of practice, and regulatory guidelines are adhered to by the unit staff.
Assist the DNS with managing, supervising, coordination, and participating in resident care programs, including the day to day oversight of care delivery in conjunction with other IDT members.
Participate in Unit Committee meetings such as but not limited to Daily Clinical Report, Resident Care Conferences, Nutrition/Hydration/Skin, Behavior and Medication, Events and Fall prevention.
During nursing rounds will validate care delivery, staff performance, and validate that resident needs are being met timely and professionally.
Participate in Quality Assurance Programs as directed by the DNS.
Initiates development of and updates the individual care plan and service plan utilizing the nursing process, MDS, CAA and resident input as well as other sources as needed.
Administers appropriate disciplinary action for nursing staff non-compliance with state and federal regulations and Center policies and processes.
Keeps resident family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or conditions of health.
Have a working knowledge of and oversee medication and treatment administration, resident assessments and evaluations, ADT, documentation and communication as it relates to the nursing staff and all areas of resident cares.
Other duties as assigned.

Current licensure in the state of employment.
Demonstrates knowledge of nursing process, particularly as it relates to geriatric residents, long-term care, and rehabilitation.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
