Landing Support Specialist Summary Provide direct care and admin support at The Landing Reports To Director of Programs Qualifications General affability and capacity to engage with people from all walks of life Ability to confidently de-escalate children in crisis Access to reliable transportation Aspiration to embody the values of Skookum Kids Degree in social work or a closely related field OR 3 years of childcare experience Access to computer (We are a BYO device workplace) Key Responsibilities ? Create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for children, social workers, and volunteers.
? Answer intake calls and make appropriate placement decisions ? Coordinate medical appointments and visitation schedules for guests ? Offer guidance and support for volunteers ? Assist in planning & execution of volunteer recruitment and appreciation events ? Document case notes and communicate daily recap with Program Coordinator Hours & Compensation Hourly compensation $18-22 DOE Wednesday/Thursday 7am-5pm Possibility to add weekend hours as float pool contractor Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$18.
